Visit Beaufort

Beaufort is a city on Port Royal Island – one of South Carolina’s coastal Sea Islands. It’s known for its antebellum mansions, especially in the downtown historic district. With its rich history, heritage, and natural beauty, Beaufort is a destination that continually attracts visitors from around the world.

In November of 2018, Visit Beaufort – the Destination Marketing Organization for Beaufort, South Carolina – partnered with Threshold 360 to capture lodging properties, restaurants, and attractions throughout the region for their destination website. The end result is a powerful combination of interaction and idealization for guests browsing their destination listings.

Over 2M Impressions

Visit Beaufort included both the Threshold viewer and Threshold map within each directory listing on their website. This implementation allows site visitors to interact with each lodging property, while also easily identifying attractions and restaurants surrounding their preferred hotel. In just one year, Visit Beaufort generated over 2M views of their destinations 360° experiences.
